Walter is a busy landscape designer in a large southern city. On the surface, Walter has a wildly successful business. His designs and installations have appeared in magazines ranging from Martha Stewart to Architectural Digest, he’s gotten all kinds of accolades and his services are in demand, but underneath things are a bit out of control.
Working in an area with a year round growing season, he has no down time to regroup in between projects and is on the go constantly, working out of his truck, driving from projects to suppliers and back til the last moments of daylight drift away. His phone rings constantly, but he seldom has time to return calls and emails and clients are beginning to get a bit miffed. He returns home in the evening stressed and exhausted from the day, to a pile of paperwork that seems to double each time he sets eyes on it.
With no time to think, Walter shoots from the hip, and has found that these split second decisions have come back to haunt him as he’s made some bad hires and done some inaccurate estimates that have him wondering how long it will take before he goes broke.
Running a business can be overwhelming. If Walter’s story sounds familiar, schedule a time to speak with me about your business today.
