In the course of my work with business professionals, I often come across attorney websites which unfortunately do a rather poor job of representing them.
Some only contain the most basic contact information. Many look very generic, which undermines their fee structure. Others go into a little more detail, such as a laundry list of practice areas, but do nothing to back-up their expertise or position them as experts in their field.
Rarely do you see a lawyer website that addresses what type of clients they work with and what makes them different or better from the competition, or define a specific niche that they have expertise in. And finally, very few of them are optimized for organic search engine ranking, so they’re missing out on the additional business they could be capturing via the internet.
